Some light fare this week: Recently Lifehacker brought to our attention a hilarious series of Photoshop "tutorials" by a pseudonymous screencaster, Donnie Hoyle. In addition to saying that you suck at Photoshop (or Photardshop), he currently offers a quintet of funny, Dane Cook-ish tutorials with some adult themes and language. But his marital strife and personal failings are our pleasure. We especially loved the inclusion of a Vanagon in Volume 1 and Donnie's painful admission as he uses layer effects to drop a kitten into a plastic bag.But throughout, he makes reasonably good use of Photoshop's distortion, warp, and layer effects. It's pretty amateurish stuff for SchMEs like us (Subject Matter Experts), but since you clearly suck at Photoshop it'll be a good start for you.
